As Youth Mayor I recently attended the Youth Voice Development Programme run by the British Youth Council. It was a great experience where I met over 200 young people who are involved in youth forums, youth councils and who are also Youth Mayor and Members of UK Youth Parliament. I took part in lots of workshops to develop essential skills that I can bring to my role and to the Youth Cabinet such as leadership skills; learning how to plan and run campaigns; information about the Don't Hate Educate campaign and much more.
